They’re Naked! How to Execute A Stellar, Elevated Shavedown

It’s seen as a basic haircut, but at its core, shaving a dog is anything but simple. Exposing everything leaves all our mistakes front and center and there’s nowhere to hide! So how can we keep it smooth, crisp, and precise? Melissa will show you all the tricks on how to make even the most basic of trims anything but boring.

Pivot! Pivot!

Grooming is often a fast paced environment that benefits well from adaptability in situations. But if that’s not your strong suit how do you learn how to be quick on your feet to alter your environment to fit your needs? Melissa will offer solutions in this problem solving seminar that will help you with proactive decision making and how to ultimately be able to offer better results to your clients and those in your care. We will be teaching habits and having a core breakdown so you don’t have to think, like muscle memory.

Short Cuts

“We want short, but not too short!” These are instructions many groomers dread hearing. In this “bread and butter” type class we will be going over how to add style and flair to shorter trims, and also how to make a longer, faux trim functional for day to day wear. If you or your clients are frustrated by constantly having to shave, this class is for you!

This class is tailored to our unique needs and covers helping with coping mechanisms, tips for self care, help when it seems hopeless, and more.
