Melissa Jepson
Melissa Jepson has been fascinated by all things animal since she hatched, and began trying to get her hands on every pet she could see once she was old enough to toddle. She runs the highly sought after grooming salon located in a boutique, which won Pet Product News International Retailer of the Year Special Recognition Award for Outstanding Pet Services in 2011-12.
During the course of her career she has shown and handled dogs, groomed in a mobile van, styled in salons, and offered house call services. She's learned from world class handlers, GroomTeam USA members, and displays her versatility by trying anything once. She is an award-winning grooming competitor, consistently placing when she competes, and has even dabbled in creative styling. A life-long learner with the heart of a teacher and the soul of an artist, Melissa excels at communicating and is passionate about sharing knowledge with others. One of her dreams is to help offer practical, real, reasonably priced grooming education to anyone who wants to increase their knowledge base.
You can find Melissa in southern California with her doofy Standard Poodle, Brink and her heart dog Chihuahua, Termite, where she enjoys the arts, performing, reading and immersing herself in the pet grooming industry.
