Owner of Alyssa’s House Call Grooming in Wausau, Wisconsin, Alyssa Forss is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management.   Author of the popular blog, In The Dogs’ House,  she educates and entertains by sharing tales of the unique and challenging experiences of being a house call groomer. 

Alyssa’s specialty is working with fearful pets to help them learn to trust the styling process.  She took her grooming show “on the road” in order to reach those pets that are challenged by a more traditional setting.  She enjoys the freedom of this way of work, as well as the exceptional bond she builds with both canine and human customers. 

Merging her technical skills on the computer with her love of the grooming industry, Alyssa seeks to share her passion for continuing education by reaching out to stylists around the world via Webinars and the written word.  With her spastic Miniature Poodle, Zeke by her side, she is forging ahead to “pay it forward” and help other groomers increase their knowledge.
